Mounted silage cutter FL series

The series FL has been specially developed for use to a front loader and mini wheel loader. The FL is less deep and less high than the other types, resulting in a lower own weight. Due to this a silage cutter with the desired width can be mounted to a smaller wheel loader or tractor with front loader with limited lifting capacity. Thus, the FL can be wider than the lifting vehicle which allows it to cut tightly along the walls of a silo. By adjusting the block height and depth it is nevertheless possible to cut wide blocks with a front loader. The silage block breaks faster because it is less square and therefore it mixes quicker in the mixer wagon. Block widths from 140 to 240 cm, the block depth is 65 cm and the block height is 70 cm. The capacity varies from 0,64 to 1,09 m³. All types are available with tines as well as with a closed bottom and are standardly delivered with hoses and quick couplings. All models with a closed bottom are equipped with a wear-resistant knife in 400 HB grade steel. The cutting frame and the closed bottom are double-walled. This sandwich construction is provided with reinforcements so that the silage cutter is very “stiff” in the frame. Thanks to this stiff construction the cutting frame will not twist and the AP silage cutter requires only 2 cylinders. Therefore there is no need for a hydraulic flow divider. The FL silage blockcutter can be equipped will all common quick attachments, providing the width is sufficient. All attachments are screwed on and therefore simply replaceable.
