Description

CaipoBase is solar powered Internet based weather and soil moisture monitoring device. Station collects data from directly connected and wireless sensors, and uploads directly to the central web platform every hour or according to user’s choice. Data can also be downloaded directly to PC via standard USB plug. Internal flash memory allows storing data for up to 2 years depending on number of sensors connected. CaipoBase supports all sensors of Caipos in different combinations. Any third party sensors with SDI12, analog or serial data interface can be connected to CaipoBase on request. CaipoBase is developed for fast and easy installation in difficult environments. Main unit is compact and easy to access. System is delivered completely configured. User only needs to insert a SIM card with valid data contract. CaipoBase requires minimum maintenance. It includes cleaning of rain gauge and solar panel. Station can send data to multiple servers simultaneously. This feature is useful for customers, who want to have data on their own servers and allows very cost effective replication. All servers are automatically synchronised. In case of outfall of one server, data can be accessed from other servers without interruption. Ultra low power consumption enables autonomous operation including uploading data to web server for more than one month without sun light. Battery continuous to charge in cloudy conditions. For environments with low average sun light Caipos offers extra battery and bigger solar panel.
