Description

Machine with adjustable crankcase to earth up greenhouse or tunnel edges Earthing-up means collecting soil from the tunnel and greenhouse lanes, and then placing on against the covering sheets edges to secure them on the ground. Cosmeco adjustable ridger is composed of a simple frame at the end of which is welded an adjustable crankcase for a milling rotor equipped with curved hoes. The rotary motion together with the bended shape of the hoes, simplifies and speeds up the collection of a sufficient quantity of soil, which through the adjustable crankcase, is directed towards the tunnel base to firmly secure the covering foil edges In the rear part of the frame there are three ploughs, placed there to move and aerate the soil between the rows and restore the original consistency it had before the passing of the ridger. We offer two different models: the single-rotor one, to earth up one side only (C1) and the two-rotor ridger, to earth up two sides at the same time (C2). Technical Aspects: •Transmission with cardan shafts and oil-immersed gears •1st - 2nd category three-point hitch •Adjustable depth through the tractor hydraulic lifting system •Available both with single or double-rotor •The frame is fixed, it works only at the tractor centre Main Strenghts: •Suitable for any kind of soils •Adjustable crankcase for removed soil directioning •Fit for tight spaces due to its small size •Earthing up of tunnels or greenhouses of any dimension, even with low-power tractors •If needed, the C2 model can work on one side only
