The DUALEX® SCIENTIFIC sensor measures the content of chlorophyll and the nitrogen status as well as the flavonols and the anthocyanins* of the leaf. This leafclip performs instant and non-destructive mesurements. Its internal GPS is used for the geolocalization of the blocks. Are measured: The surface content of chlorophyll (µg/cm²) ; The index of epidermal flavonols ; The NBI nitrogen status (Nitrogen Balance Index) ; The index of epidermal anthocyanins*. This sensor is used for various applications, especially for ecophysiology: Physiological studies ; Genetic studies ; Phenology studies ; Plant selection ; Phenotyping ; Agronomy. For any other study that needs knowledge of leaf chlorophyll index: Nutritional chlorosis ; Disease-induced chlorosis ; Potential photosynthesis ; Leaf senescence.
