The SAC Internal Rotary milking parlour is designed with a stainless steel zigzag pit edge so the cow is free to stand straight-backed and close to the milker. Lines and height are adjustable to ensure the best milking and working conditions for cow and milker. The SAC QuickStart device starts milking automatically when the milking unit is swung in under the cow. All the milking parlours have a rear gate so the milker can stop the rotary milking parlour at any time to allow a person to alight or descend. The rotary milking parlour is available with or without feeding boxes. Fodder is added either as a fixed quantity or individually (per cow). Rotary milking parlours fitted with a milking parlour control system receive data via radio (to avoid unstable data transfer via slip rings). The milker can focus on preparing the udders and attaching the cluster, while the IDC milk parlour control unit and the TIM management system monitor the milking process. The milker monitors milking on the SAC touch screen and reads off data regarding the cows under observation. The internal rotary milking parlour offers the milker an ideal overview of all the cows on the rotary parlour and allows him/her to handle the udders after milking. If not delivered with an optional management system, the rotary milking parlour is supplied with a simple, manual separation system. One milker can easily milk more than 100 cows per hour.
