Description

Milking clusters perfectly positioned with the MELKMEISTER® Even weight distribution on all four udder quarters Fixed position even when the cow moves Promotes muscular relaxation of the udder When milking clusters are not perfectly positioned on the udder of a milk cow, it causes an uneven weight balance of the teat cups on the individual udder quarters. In that case, some teat cups carry less weight. As a consequence, individual teat cups rise up prematurely leading to a constriction of the Fürstenberg vein ring. Air leaking and falling off of the milking unit may also occur when faulty positioning of the milking unit causes a teat to carry considerably more than one quarter of the milking cluster weight. The result is a substantially adverse effect on the milking routine and often a negative impact on udder health. Melkmeister is a positioning arm that solves this milking problem through its unique ability of correctly positioning the milking cluster on the udder. With correct adjustment, all four udder quarters will carry the same milking cup weight even if the cow moves during milking. The milk is milked out faster, more thoroughly and gentler. Due to lifting of the long milk hose, the milking cluster can move freely! This encourages the udder musculature to relax during milking and improves a cow’s milk yield.
