Silostop MAX has been developed by the creators of the worldwide leading oxygen barrier film. It is an orange on black film that is impermeable and for this reason stops the entry of oxygen into ensiled crops. It is crucial that ensiled crops are stored in an anaerobic environment to prevent energy and dry matter (DM) losses. Silostop MAX is a multilayer, 80 micron thick robust film and therefore suitable for larger applications. It is easy to handle and apply. It has unique oxygen barrier properties that are proven to be over 100 times more effective than conventional silage sheeting. It is recommended that SupaCova Net is used to protect Silostop Max from physical damage. Silostop Gravelbags and Silostop Wall Film should also be used to seal the pit to prevent oxygen entering from the sides.
