Description

The EDEN tool carrier is the result of the creation of a CASDAR "agro-ecology collective action" project. This call for projects, instigated by TERRATECK SAS, brings together a group of 10 diversified market gardening producers, a farming equipment design company, a technical institute (vegetable unit), an association of producers (GAB NOR) and a cuma. The objective is to create new tools that are suited to the actual daily needs of diversified market gardeners. The EDEN tool carrier is used to carry out all the daily tasks required during the springtime in market gardening production for a minimum investment. The goal is that this machine should become the market gardeners' "servant". You can use it to work independently for all the hoeing, tine harrow, ridging, thermal weeding, seedbed weed control, seedling, harvesting assistance and pallet lifting tasks. This tool is currently undergoing final prototype work. We will be presenting the first version at the SIVAL show. The EDEN tool carrier is operated by a walking or half-carried operator. It is hydrostatically driven which means that it can be used for very prece tasks. The width of the Culti'track tool carrier tractor can be adjusted from 1.50 to 1.90 metres to suit the standard market gardening strip distances. The Honda 8 hp petrol engine has the capacity to carry out all topsoil operations.
