Carrier 420-820 is a trailed disc cultivator, available in working widths between 4.2 and 8.2 metres. It can be fitted with 450 or 470mm discs. Whether you require a stale seedbed, levelling of ploughed land or cover crop incorporation, the wide range of front tools offer versatility to different farming requirements. Selected features Discs according to requirement Carrier 420-820 can be fitted with either 450mm discs or 470mm TrueCut discs. Both discs produces fine tilth optimal for a stale seedbed. The 450mm disc has small cut-outs, resulting in an intensive cultivation even at a very shallow working depth. The 470mm TrueCut disc has larger cut-outs which can handle more crop residue with increased penetration. Intensive ultra-shallow tillage CrossCutter Disc performs outstanding well in oilseed rape stubble and cover crops, whilst also achieving excellent results in grain stubble and on ploughed land. CrossCutter Disc is manufactured from high quality Swedish steel and its disc shape provides full cut-out and intensive mixing at shallow working depths. This means that an extensive stale seedbed is created over the entire field. Straw harrow compensates for poor straw distribution Large combines tend to have a poor straw distribution, leading to an uneven emergence of the next crop. Equipped with the straw harrow Carrier not only cuts, but also distributes straw in the same pass. Well distributed straw is crucial to provide the following crop with the same conditions over the entire field.
