Our story.
Jake Peterson started Turbosawmill in 2007, with the help of his father, Carl Peterson (Swing-blade sawmill pioneer).
Both Jake and Carl brought to the company over 20 years of experience within this industry.
Turbosawmill has been built around the inverted ‘T’ frame design. We believe it to be the very best layout for a swing-blade possible; simplicity, open access and easy automation to name a few.
The first product offered by Turbosawmill was the massive Gladiator 12” Swing-blade (a world first for this sized swing-blade sawmill). Later the company introduced a lightweight model called the Warrior, purpose built for carrying into the bush. These two products evolved over time, into what is now known as our standard range of models.
The company now holds many worldwide patents and design awards. Our sawmills are currently in operation and in high demand worldwide.
