Product overview
ECOMAX® provides plants for energy recovery of biogas for agricultural and multi‑utility customers. An ECOMAX® biogas plant comprises two main parts: anaerobic digestion (biogas production) and the cogeneration unit that transforms biogas into electricity and thermal energy. The performance of the cogeneration unit is a key factor in the plant’s energy yield and economic results.

Function and feedstock
Through biogas cogeneration the system produces electricity and heat using agro‑livestock residues, industrial organic waste, the organic fraction of municipal waste or wastewater. Cogeneration enables on‑site energy use or sale of surplus energy and supports energy efficiency and sustainability goals.
