Description

The Twin Side rake 12.0 T is the only rake in the Borello range that allows to form one or two swaths in a single pass. It offers high efficiency and easy use even with small tractors starting from 45 HP. As you can choose from the driver's seat the position of the rear rotor as to the front one you can make a single swath on the left hand side or two swaths. This permits to exploit the maximum yield 6 to 7 meter wide in view of the rotor width preset by the user. In the two-swath position it is like having two single rakes that allow to optimize the passes, In fact two symmetrical identical swaths can be obtained by adjusting the working width directly from the driver's seat. The harvested forage is lifted from the ground and repositioned to dry. The exclusive feature of all Borello rakes manufactured by Abimac is turning the product while picking it and forming the swath thanks to a special design that is the result of project planning and field tests. The fully mechanical transmission with two safety clutches, a constant-velocity shaft on the tractor side together with a gearbox in oil bath with external cam adjustment make maintenance extremely easy on this model. A double tandem trolley with oversize wheels permits to drive on a road for a long time without jeopardizing safety on the go. The rotor lifting and shifting are obtained by oil pressure systems controlled by simple-acting jacks on the wheel axles and double-acting jacks for side shifting.
