Roads, airports, parking lots, and highways can become congested or hazardous following heavy snowfall. To keep a road network passable and safe, it is necessary to spread sodium chloride on both private and public areas. Maintaining the road in good condition and reducing the risk of slipping is essential for road safety. The MAXI-S salt spreaders feature a large-capacity hopper, ensuring high daily performance. The robust chassis allows speeds of up to 40 km/h. The spreading unit consists of two spreader discs with adjustable radial stainless steel vanes. The hopper bottom is equipped with a rubber conveyor belt, which guarantees an almost uniform distribution, as the feed rate is regulated by a volumetric wheel that rests hydraulically on the large wheel of the spreader. The wide tire contact area reduces pressure on the asphalt, even under particularly critical conditions.
