MERLIN trimming machine This tree care machine can be used for pruning, thinning and tying up trees. Until now, all our machines were used for working at height, but with the Merlin we took a broader approach. This machine must also be able to do work lower to the ground on its own wheels. We believe that when one has a continuous speed and the machine steers automatically, they can achieve a higher performance. The machine has a platform height varying from 30 cm to 150 cm. The width of the platform is variable from 160cm to 240cm. These variables are semi-automatically adjustable. The length of the platform is 2 metres. The machine runs completely on its batteries. The test phase showed that 2 to 3 days without charging is no problem. The customer can still choose between gel batteries or Li-ion batteries. The machine has a low weight and rides on 3 wide and high tyres. This ensures that even under very wet conditions, one can simply drive without leaving any traces behind. The frame is, as you expect from us, fully galvanised. The speed is adjustable from 50 to 5500 metres per hour and even if the machine goes very slowly and encounters molehills or other unevennesses, the Merlin maintains this speed continuously. In addition, the gearbox ensures an ideal speed of the electric motor so that it has an optimal (low) power consumption. The solar roof is an option! You can see on the video that the Merlin is equipped with a Solar roof, this is an option for the machine and is not part of the standard equipment. The solar roof makes sure that the Merlin is energy neutral which means that the battery pack does not need to be charged at home.
