Short description
A sustained‑release bolus containing iodine, cobalt and selenium, intended for growing cattle on grass or forage‑based diets with a target liveweight of 200–400 kg. 24·7 SMARTRACE® GROWING CATTLE supplies the animal’s full daily requirement of each trace element for 180 days and is formulated without added copper where copper supplementation is not required.

Technology
Boluses are designed to lie in the reticulum. The outer wrapper dissolves and the bolus separates into two parts that erode and dissolve completely, providing a continuous and regular supply of trace elements over the active life of the product.

Efficacy
24·7 SMARTRACE® GROWING CATTLE has undergone an extensive R&D programme in‑house and in New Zealand. A variant of the bolus technology has been launched successfully in New Zealand; cattle trials confirm a reliable sustained‑release profile that maintains appropriate iodine, cobalt and selenium levels throughout the active life.

Administration
Give one 130 g bolus per animal. Always use the approved Agrimin cattle bolus Applicator A. Boluses are supplied in packs of 10 (sufficient for 10 cattle).
