Introducing THE LEGEND Rate & Blockage Monitor for sectional control air drills! With built-in interfaces for ISOBUS and Wifi, THE LEGEND S.A. (Section Aware) alerts the operator to rate or blockage problems, but only on active sections. Sectional Control capability of many air drills has created the need for this new ‘Section Aware’ system. By connecting to the drill’s control system, no alarms will occur for inactive sections. Tractors with ISOBUS Virtual Terminals offer ‘Plug and Play’ installation for this system. In addition, a WIFI connection to tablet or smartphone is available. Each seed sensor sends its information Via the S.A. Module to the tractor’s Virtual Terminal, and via WIFI to smartphone or tablet. Applying too much seed or too little seed can be a costly mistake. Knowing the seed population is something corn and soybean planter operators have enjoyed for years. Now, air drill operators seeding small grains (or large!) can benefit from this information.
