Description

Weight : 45-48 g/m² (depending on the lateral reinforcements) Mesh size : 435µ x 670µ Colour : Crystal Water permeability : 96% flat, 86% on hoops DESCRIPTION BIOTIS 450 is the new insect net made by Alphatex. Mainly for vegetable crops, it can also be used for horticulture and plants nursery. Its main advantage : its average lifespan is estimated to 3-4 years (similar nets on the market have a lifespan of only one year). Its small meshes of 435µ x 670µ stop many insects from reaching and damaging crops. For example, it is a very efficient physical barrier for insects with the size of the small flea beetle Phyllotreta (0.48 mm). This net has an UV treatment of 320 kly. So it can resist, exposed to the sun, for some years (depending on the use and and the amount of sunshine). Moreover, many dimensions are available : •2.10m x 300m •2.20 / 4.40 / 8.80 / 11 / 13.20 / 15.40m x 125m This insect net has many advantages : •Its lifespan of 3 – 4 years •Thanks to its light weight (less than 50 g/m²), BIOTIS 450 can be put directly on the crops. •Its constitution gives it a high mechanical resistance. •BIOTIS 450 doesn’t increase cryptogamic diseases because it is highly permeable to rain and wind. •It allows the producer to reduce the use of phytosanitary products to fight against insects. •Made with HDPE, this material is rotproof and water-repellent. •It stops a wide range of insectes, you can find the summary table here.
