Description

Andropogon, a prairie native, is the big brother to Schizachyrium, aka Little Blue Ste., 'Indian Warrior 'forms upright clumps of narrow green foliage that begins to take on purple, then bronze tones as summer moves toward autumn. Consider this a terrific and colorful alternative to pesky Miscanthus. 4-6’. Another handsome grass introduction by Brent Horvath of Intrinsic Perennials. Loves sun, and is drought tolerant.
