For a couple of years now, the Esprit has proven to be a more than true successor to the Prestige. The most striking qualities of the esprit are the modularity and the possibility of this harvester to work both in line and offset. Less damage and a better sievable ridge. With the more and more changing conditions on the field, offset driving is a big advantage: If it gets wet, the machine can be put offset hydraulically. The tractor can then be equipped with large tyres. No wheel runs through the ridges anymore, so less damage by trailing wheels and a better sievable ridge.
Completely new elevator
The newly developed elevator consists of two parts: a short belt without flights directly behind the harvesting line and a second part that takes the potatoes up. Due to a more gradual change of direction, where the potatoes can no longer fall onto the flights, and a shorter drop height, the amount of damage is decreased. Thanks to a better filling level, the capacity is also larger. The elevator is equipped with active side walls. The potatoes can no longer rub against the elevator walls because these walls move along with the elevator. An important matter is the further reducing of damage. In this line, the elevator also comes standard with lining. The active side walls enable a higher filling level and thus more capacity. As opposed to other systems, the bars between the flights in the lower part of the elevator are not there, so that the potatoes cannot touch heavy steel bars anymore. Potato friendly was the key word when developing this elevator.
