TFU drum mowers fit compact tractors from 10 to 25 Hp (8 to 19 kW). They are extremely light and easy to be mounted in the rear or in the front of tractors with PTO speed 540/1000/2000 rpm and standard 3-point linkage Cat.1 or triangle linkage Cat.0. These models are equipped with ouble drums and swivel blades which can retract when an obstacle is met. The lower free disc allows the cutting disc to follow the contour of the ground, independent of the tractor axle. Gearbox features fully hardened steel gears and ball bearings in oil bath enclosed in a cast-iron housing, which reduces maintenance to a simple periodic check of the oil level and knives.
