Potatoes, onions... The harvest is food on your table. That's why you are as careful with your product as the Bijlsma Hercules receiving hopper. We manufacture a range of BSB receiving hoppers, each of which guarantees gentle treatment and efficient handling. You get maximum benefit by combining the BSB receiving hopper with a Bijlsma Hercules soil extractor.
A favourable conveying effect
An angled swan-neck construction on the discharge end of the moving floor ensures an optimum flow between the receiving hopper and the soil extractor. The moving floor consists of two heavy-duty roller chains, between which transverse carriers are mounted. Since the extended polyester-nylon cloth is mounted across the carriers, there is a favourable conveying effective to the pockets.
A flexible system
An electric motor mounted directly on the gearbox drives the moving floor. This results in improved power transfer. The speed of the moving floor is continuously variable. As desired, the system can be expanded with automatic continuous, variable capacity. This control unit, which is coupled to the frequency converter, consists of a sensor for ultrasonic low-density measurement and PLC controls.
A particularly practical feature
The hoppers can be supplied with optional moving floor widths of between 2,000 and 2,400 mm. The H models are equipped with horizontal section lengths of 1,000-mm. This provides greater capacity and also enables easy reception from tipping trailers and trucks, whose hopper pivotal points have not been located all the way to the rear. This is a particularly practical feature.
