DELTA X® is a continuous effluent separation system for dairy barns that separates solid and liquid waste at source to prevent slurry formation, reduce emissions and improve barn hygiene. Compact and floor-integrated, it fits into traffic lanes and continuously evacuates liquids to external storage.
How it worksThe system is integrated into the floor of traffic lanes and uses two lateral gutters set on a 3% slope to direct solids toward a motorized belt. The continuously moving belt conveys separated solid matter for sanitation and valorization while liquids are evacuated to an external storage pit.
