Big impact from a petite treasure! A flat carpet of foliage is smothered with starry bright lavender-blue flowers for long-blooming color. Blooms heavily in late spring to early summer then often with some sporadic rebloom in fall. Will spread and divide easily for an economical way to cover a larger expanse over time. Will need to be contained if spreading is not desired. Foliage may be evergreen in warmer zones.
Pratia County Park tolerates foot traffic and easily pulls apart to plant between paving stones. Forms a tight weave of foliage on top of soil and can be planted under trees and shrubs providing they have a smaller more open canopy of foliage to allow for ample sunlight. Note: Our plant spacing recommendations for groundcovers are based on how quickly these plants will spread in their first season of growth.

Pratia General Information
Pratia are sturdy groundcovers that can tolerate foot traffic. Evergreen in the South, they spread via underground runners and can seed. Best when allowed to roam and fill in. A deep landscape edging material can be used to halt unwanted spreading by runners. Also known as Laurentia fluviatilis and Isotoma fluviatilis. Idaho has restricted all potted plant material from being shipped into Idaho at this time.
