Thanks to its specialization in haymaking in extreme mountainous conditions CAEB designed the new MOUNTAINPRESS MP 550 CNG on rubber tracks. Its main characteristic is to press hay by rolling it up in cylindrical bales. One of the advantages of this baling machine is that it runs through a quick-coupling flange (bayonet coupling) which allows, once the baler has been moved, to connect other accessories.
The MOUNTAINPRESS MP 550 CNG pressure chamber is housed inside the frame. This provides a very low centre of gravity, to the benefit of overall stability.
The CAEB MOUNTAINPRESS MP 550 CNG baling process is based on the same principle of the other versions. The bale thus weighs about 20 to 25 Kg and it is formed in about 40 seconds.
The total output per hour is consequently about 1,500 Kg hay. The bales are of the soft-centre type and the hay is neither cut nor thrashed.
