CaipoRain is the smallest, most accurate and inexpensive rain and soil monitoring system. CaipoRain measures precipitation and uploads data on the web server. Data can also be downloaded directly to PC via standard USB plug. Internal flash memory allows storing data for up to 8 years. To minimize the energy consumption, CaipoRain sends data to the web site only when precipitation intensity is changed. This makes CaipoRain perfect instrument for disaster monitoring and alarm system. It immediately alerts when precipitation reaches predefined threshold. Ultra low power consumption enables autonomous operation including uploading data to web server for more than three months without sun light. Battery are constantly charged even during cloudy weather and in shadow. CaipoRain is developed for fast and easy installation in difficult environments. Main unit is compact and easy to access. System is delivered completely configured. User only needs to insert a SIM card with valid data contract. CaipoRain requires minimum maintenance. It includes cleaning of rain gauge and solar panel. Applications of CaipoBase include rain monitoring, disaster monitoring and others. Free web space is provided for every station with instant access to data of the last 5 years. Data older than 5 years is archived and available on request. Web application can also be installed on customer’s hardware. Interfaces to export data to other software platforms can be provided on request. Free web application displays data in form of tables, charts and maps. Data can be aggregated on daily, monthly, yearly or user defined time interval.
