Description

The hammer mill is a machine realized with carbon steel of large thickness and high strength steel, having two side doors for access to the loading chamber, to grids and to hammers. On the structure, in welded profiles, which the seats for the supports which support the electric motor connected to the axis in a direct manner with an interposed flexible coupling. The case supported by the crankcase is constituted by a central body made of thick sheet metal that constitutes the lower part of the grinding chamber and the seat fixing of the supports to double body in cast iron for high speed of the axis of the rotor which is balanced to ensure the perfect axial alignment of the rotation in both directions. The entire structure rests on a vibration-damping feet to dampen vibrations transmitted. In the upper part of the structure is a speaker of double wing entry that allows the diversion of flow in one of two directions. The crushing of the product is realized by means of a series of hammers (heat-treated) hinged on a hardened plug mounted on the perforated discs that go so to compose the rotor. The shaft, coupled to the electric motor via a flexible coupling, drags in rotation the group of hammers. The ground product is intercepted by the grids supported by the frame with chain tensioner and hinges. The release system / coupling is realized by means of two cylinders with electropneumatic control that allow the replacement of even grids with the mill in motion without opening of the flaps because this operation takes place in the front part of the machinery by means of the handles.
