Short description
MenSe Excavator Brush Cutters (RP series) are hydraulic attachments with two reciprocating blades for controlled cutting and sawing of vegetation. They are designed for mounting on a wide range of excavators via customer-specified adapters and quick couplers.

Overview
The RP series (models RP4L, RP6L, RP8L, RP10L) uses two blades moving in a scissoring motion that combine cutting and sawing action. Blade material is 500 HB abrasion-resistant steel to extend service life and reduce sharpening frequency. The design minimizes thrown debris, enabling safer operation near roads, railways and power lines.

Applications and benefits
Typical applications include hedgerow trimming, tree and shrub maintenance, clearing vegetation along power lines, railways and roadsides, and maintenance of green areas and sapling stands. The cutters enable controlled trimming of branches adjacent to power lines while reducing the risk of debris contacting lines. The roughened cut surface slows re-sprouting.

Construction and options
Blades are manufactured from 500 HB abrasion-resistant steel and can be re-sharpened with a hand-held grinder if required. MenSe units are supplied with an adapter selected by the customer for the machine quick coupler. Optional extension booms increase reach behind obstacles and assist machine manoeuvring. Booms are available for common quick coupler types.
