Description

Begin feeding Country Junction 16% Right Way Bull Ration OR after calves are weaned. Calves that will become replacement animals in the breeding herd should be started on 16% Right Way Bull Ration OR at approximately 0.5 kg for every 100 kg of body weight. Once the bull calves have all started consuming the 16% Right Way Bull Ration OR, increase the amount of 16% Right Way Bull Ration OR fed by 0.5 kg every 3 - 5 days. The calves should be grown using good quality forage and approximately 1.5 - 1.75 kg of 16% Right Way Bull Ration OR for every 100 kg of body weight. After getting the calves started on the 16% Right Way Bull Ration OR, they can be switched to the 14% Right Way Bull Ration OR if the forage crude protein is greater than 14%.
