Tractor rootballing machine KLR-500

These tree spades are suitable for mounting in the 3-points connection of a tractor. Our 3-points mounted tree spades are available in various executions, from the KLR-500 until the KLR- 700. Possible root ball diameters between 30 – 50 (KLR-500) and 40 – 70 cm (KLR-700). There are two types of tree spades with different functionings. Type I: 4 spades with undercutting blade. Functioning: The spades go around the tree, close and go down. The undercutting blade cuts under the rootball, returns to the heart of the rootball and the rootball with tree is lifted. This also works well for deep roots. Type II: 2 spades with clamp, without undercutting blade. Functioning: The spades go around the tree and the clamp clamps around the trunk. The spades go down and the rootball with the tree is pulled out of the soil. This principle only works with shallow roots.
