Big bale opener for heavy peat. Big bales are more and more being used on nurseries: peat is compressed and delivered on pallets which generates several benefits. In order to make use of all qualities of this peat, it needs to regain its original volume. Demtec builds several machines for opening these bales. The range was recently extended with a new machine: the BBX-TL is developped for opening hard compressed bales with high density (> 500 kg/m³). Traditional bale openers often struggled to do the job and were subject to early wear. The BBX-TL is provided with reinforced materials and more powerful motors. Moreover operator can always put a second bale on the tilting platform: this enlarges the machine's autonomy and operator is less occupied.
