ELICA Hammer mills are widely used in the livestock sector for production of fodder, grinding of biomass (sunflower husk) and in the pharmaceutical industry. Hammer mills can be equipped with a fire safety system. The principle of work of the mills is based on strike and abrasion. Grinding is performed by means of strike hammers, moving freely through the bulk mass. They strike the particles with their working surface. The processed material, which is smaller than the size of the sieve, is removed from the grinding chamber and proceeds to the next stage of processing.
