Vertical Silos (VPD) are fiberglass silos bolted with vertical seams, offering capacities ranging from 3.5 m³ to 120 m³ and certified for specific weights of 700, 1100, and 1500 kg/m³. Their main advantage is modularity, which makes them easy to assemble and suitable for long-distance transport by truck or container. Specifically, all models come with complete pre-drilling, not only in the perimeter area of the shells (i.e., the points where the fiberglass vertical segments join) but also in the areas where the legs, lid, and bottom part are attached. Features 1The top cover is used for the silo's loading, customizable by different types of fiberglass lids. 2 The extraordinary access for maintenance of the top lid is equipped with a solid metal protective cage, with the opening sized to prevent the operator from any accidentally falling outwards. 3 Our vertical silos are modular, easy to assemble and to transport over long distances. The lower conical part of the silo is internally waxed as standard. 4 The hot galvanized legs are made by a single calendered tube with an automatic bending machine. They are furhter submitted to the passivation treatment. The passivating is an substainable product (chromium-free) made by resins, which gives an increased resistance to the oxidation of the galvanized steel. 5 The silos can be equipped with a graduated strip to keep under control the level of the storaged feed. 6 The terminal edge of the silo has a diameter of 860 mm.
