iGRAIN Handheld Reader model 2000, showing grain temperature
iGRAIN provides three different handheld readers:
- - model 2000, displaying grain temperature readings on the hand instrument
- - model 2500, displaying grain temperatures with the option of transferring data to a PC
- - model 3500, displaying grain moisture and temperature readings, also with the possibility of transferring data to a PC
All iGRAIN handheld readers are operated via a simple 4 bottom control panel, by which one can scroll through sensor cables and through all sensors in each cable. Each temperature is displayed with both reference to the sensor cable number and the sensor number. All the iGRAIN handheld readers are powered with a build-in long lasting Lithium rechargeable batteries via USB.
The iGRAIN Handheld Reader model 2000 is the simplest instrument meant for smaller grain storage facilities, and it is very popular with farmers who have limited amounts of stored grain, typically up to 2 - 4.000 tons of storage. It is also the ideal service tool to check if temperature sensor cables are connected correctly when installing iGRAIN online monitoring systems.
For ease of data use or for larger systems it is recommended to upgrade from a handheld reader to a PC monitored system that stores temperature development continuously.
