The Euro C3 Max battery derives from the Euro C3, but it has the characteristic of having a feeder inside the module that permits you to comply with the standard of 50 animals/module, instead of 40. EURO C3 - C3MAX Thanks to our constant commitment and spirit of innovation, our “C3” battery has become perfect for 21st-century avicultural production, as it optimises the relationship between animal density and cage volume, thereby complying with the required restrictions in terms of size. The ease of installation and lack of structural limits makes it ideal for reclaiming preexisting industrial facilities. REGULATIONS Directive 1999/74/EC of the European Council dated 19 July 1999. The batteries meet the criteria required for new installations starting from 1 January 2002, that is: • 750cm2 for hen, 600 of which can be used; • The minimum height of the usable area is 45 cm; • The minimum height of the non-usable area is 20 cm; • A nest to lay the eggs of just one hen or a group of them with no wire mesh on the bottom; • 15cm of perch per hen; • 12cm of trough space per hen; • A suitable amount of drinking troughs for the number of hens; • A litter that lets the hens roam around and peck.
