Description

Due to its ability to save space and water it is used especially in large-scale incubation facilities Due to its ability to save space and water and the economic efficiency resulting therefrom, the incubation of salmonid eggs in FIAP profibreed Racks is a technology particularly used by large-scale incubation facilities. However, since FIAP profibreed Racks are available in three different models featuring 4, 8, or 16 compartments these racks are also perfectly suitable for small-sized production plants and hobby breeders. The feed water (up from 2 l / min), entering from the intake guide positioned on the top end of the unit, wells up through the eggs placed on a sieve insert, and will pass through a lateral channel at the front side to enter the adjacent compartment by an intake guide again etc., until all stacked hatching compartments have been supplied. Guide rails allow for simply retracting single compartments at any time from the front side for inspection, without interfering with any of the other compartments. All the way from hatching to the stage of first active ingestion of food, the compartments provide ideal conditions. For FIAP profibreed Racks, the delivery scope comprises an aluminum pedestal, compartments for the individual models, as well as PVC-coated polyester sieves.
