Fully closed water reservoir A closed water storage system is the best solution for preventing algae growth and contamination of the water because external influences on the quality of the water are no longer possible. In addition to floating covers for reservoirs, Genap also supplies a fully closed system. A decision on the plastic foil to be used is made depending on the location and the water quality. For example, we have experience of supplying and installing fully closed reservoirs for irrigation water and drinking water in countries around the equator. For storing water and retaining the quality and quantity under these extreme conditions, Genap recommends reinforced plastic foils with high UV-resistance.
