The HORSCH Pronto 9 DC is a universal disc seed drill for varied conditions, engineered for low draft requirement, high seeding accuracy and high working speeds. It combines intensive seedbed preparation with the DiscSystem, reconsolidation using a packer and modern seeding elements (TurboDisc / ParaDisc) to ensure uniform emergence.

Operating principle (3 steps)

• Step 1 – Seedbed preparation: High-speed discs (46 cm) ensuring intensive mixing and production of a large amount of fine soil, leveling the seedbed.
• Step 2 – Reconsolidation: Inline pneumatic packer providing optimal clearance and leveling the soil in front of each seeding unit.
• Step 3 – Seeding: TurboDisc 3rd generation seeding unit (pressure up to 125 kg, maintenance-free) or ParaDisc; seed metering and reconsolidation by tongue and press wheel for optimal furrow closure.
