The Husqvarna 242i is a battery-powered chainsaw designed for frequent firewood cutting and occasional tree felling, garden clearing and general property maintenance. Increased chain speed and optimised torque deliver reliable cutting performance for demanding cuts. Max Torque Technology ensures steady power under load and reduces the risk of the chain sticking. Low noise and vibration levels improve operator comfort. The saw includes an automatic shutdown after 180 seconds when left unattended to preserve battery life. It is part of the Husqvarna 36 V BLi‑X interchangeable battery system.
