Product overviewTechnical certificate: black medium-density polyethylene compound formulated for PE80 pressure pipes. All PE coils are manufactured at the Paulhan facility (IRRIFRANCE). The product is produced exclusively from a polyethylene compound, material classification MRS 8.0 (PE80). The compound is hexene-based and intended for drinking water and gas pipe applications.
Key characteristics- Resistance to slow crack growth to support long-term network operation.
- Balanced combination of flexibility and mechanical strength to facilitate coiling, handling and installation.
- Optimized additives and finely dispersed carbon black for long-term service stability (Designation ISO 1872-PE, E/M-ACGHL, 40-T012).
- Good extrudability.
- High flexibility and adaptability for varied pipe assemblies.
ApplicationsPE80 (or PE100 where applicable) is recommended for pressurized piping systems in accordance with relevant European and DIN standards:
– NF EN 12324-2: specifications for polyethylene tubes for irrigation reels.
– DIN 8074: polyethylene pipes (PE 80, PE 100): dimensions.
– DIN 8075: polyethylene pipes (PE 80, PE 100): quality requirements and testing.
Storage– Storage area must be free of stones or objects that could damage the pipe.
– Do not stack coils higher than 2 meters to avoid permanent deformation.
– Store away from heat sources.
SafetyThe product is not classified as hazardous.
RecyclingThe product is suitable for recycling using modern shredding and cleaning methods.
