Overview The Silo-CARGO design is derived from the Silo-SPACE2 silage trailer and is optimised to increase productivity for farmers and contractors. It combines high loading capacity with exceptional manoeuvrability. Silage discharge is smooth and ultra-fast thanks to the tapered body shape, moving floor, high-clearance rear door and hinged sloping front wall.

Designed for Quick Implement Change CARGO implements feature a standard TWIST-LOCK implement–chassis coupling and push–pull hydraulic connectors for rapid implement swaps. ISOBUS compatibility on both implements and chassis enables control via the tractor terminal for simplified operation and integration.

Adjustable Stands Four adjustable storing stands allow the Silo-CARGO implement to be unhitched on uneven storage areas when the ground is load-bearing, facilitating handling and storage between uses.

Optimised Body The tapered body (+4 cm at the rear vs front) promotes expansion of silage during discharge for rapid and complete emptying. The large-opening rear door, driven by two double-acting cylinders and protected by door arms, is secured by a spring-loaded mechanical lock to prevent accidental opening. The painted, perforated front wall has a 22° inclination and a hinge system to improve unloading and increase payload; the hinge also facilitates loading by a forage harvester when lowered.

Moving Floor The moving floor is standard with two chain conveyors driven by two hydraulic motors with side gearboxes. Profiled slats are alternately placed to ensure even load distribution and yaw chains provide high traction resistance. Two-speed drive on the hydraulic motors enables progressive start-up and a faster unloading mode. Two sets of four Ertalon wear rails on each side protect against scraping between the moving floor and the body floor.

Even More Versatile All Silo-CARGO models come pre-equipped to facilitate addition of options at order or later. Typical options include shredding beaters, DUO-COVER nets, hydraulic extensions and other accessories to adapt the implement to specific workflows.
