Description

With VERYX® BioPrint® processors of almonds, walnuts, pistachios, cashews and other nuts can consistently meet even the most stringent quality requirements, while improving the yield and profitability of their line. Powered by a unique hyperspectral inspection technology that intelligently processes hundreds of wavelengths of information about every object that passes through the sorter, VERYX BioPrint clearly identifies and separates good nut meat from product defects, shells, rocks, sticks, paper, rubber, plastics, glass and more. It reliably sorts out even the most challenging nut defects like insect damage and dry and low-moisture nut meat, while performing highly accurate color grading. The VERYX BioPrint nut sorting experience: A Powerful and Efficient Sort Process – In a single pass, VERYX BioPrint removes over 95% of shells and foreign materials (FM) as small as 2 millimeters from the product stream, even at defect loads of 40% or greater. Accurate Product Quality Control – VERIX BioPrint manages product color and surface defects to consistently deliver the desired final quality grade. It can also detect invisible chemometric and internal product conditions like almonds with a bitter taste. Maximum Yield – VERYX BioPrint sacrifices as little as 1% or less good product to the reject stream, increasing good product recovery and the profitability of each nut batch. No Product Breakage – VERYX BioPrint achieves the required quality grade with fewer sort passes and is designed for gentle handling to prevent breakage and product degradation, minimizing nut meal and fines.
