Continuous biofilm prevention and water disinfection Especially in the following cases, a continuous water treatment with Farnax® Plus or Diox Forte is recommended: * The water source is contaminated * biofilm in the waterline (= bad water quality at drinking nipple) * Long production cycles (layers, breeders, dairy farms, sow farms, ...) * Farmhouses which are never completely empty * People living on the farm are connected to the same drinking water system as the farmhouses. * System too complex for cleaning Farnax® Plus and Diox Forte keep both bacteria and biofilm under control. Farnax Plus and Diox Forte are based on Chlorine Dioxide and are combined products that include both a liquid phase and a gas phase: - The first phase is the (acid) liquid phase and kills the free bacteria - The second phase is the gas phase which gradually penetrates and removes the biofilm along with mineral deposits. Multiple set-ups are possible, depending on the farm type, size and management level: * Manual dosing in a central water tank * Automated dosing with pulse-based dosing pump
