Fat filled whey is white creamy, free flowing powder product, obtained from fresh liquid whey from cheese making, which is mixed as liquid with different types of oils and fats, homogenized and dried in a spray tower by hot air. This way we get a tiny oil/fat droplet covered by milk protein and lactose. This is microencapsulated oil/fat on a lactic basis. Key properties Incorporates first quality stabilized fat/oil. This product is commercialized under the LAITGRAS brand and a fat content of 50%. Flexible The manufacture of LAITGRAS allows the use of one or more types of oil/fat in a variable percentage. High quality of its raw materials The fresh liquid milk whey comes from nearby cheese factories and is transported at low temperatures and stored refrigerated in our facilities until its early incorporation into the production process. The oils/fats involved in its manufacture are food grade, with low acidity, stabilized, free of impurities and subjected to rigorous quality control.Three types of fat are used: -Refined coconut oil -Refined palm oil -(Iberian) Pig lard.
