The LUBING CleaningCubes are a modular two-stage system for the waste air purification of pig houses. The optional downstream biological stage is responsible for odour reduction and is always fully operational to ensure uniform biological growth. Our CleaningCubes for strawless pig houses reduces efficiently ammonia, odour and dust emissions, as proved by a usability test of the German Agricultural Society (DLG). The optional downstream biological stage is responsible for reduction of smell, and is always fully in operation in order to permit even growth of the biology. The method LUBING CleaningCubes switch a dedicated ChemCube downstream of every exhaust fan, in order to wash dust and ammonia from the exhaust air. For this, acidic washing water (pH 3.0) is sprayed when the air enters the ChemCube already, in order to use the entire available space with the accordingly long contact times.
