However, the use of these devices involves the supply of electrical networks, which is technically not always possible or very expensive. In addition, the supply of high voltage to fish breeding facilities is associated with additional problems and risks. The use of low voltage automatically leads to the need for electric cables with a large cross section. The way out of this situation is the use of autonomous programmable feeder with 12-volt power and a battery, while the battery is recharged by solar panels. The parameters of the engine, ejector and solar panel are selected in such a way that under normal sunlight, the feeder in the summer can work without recharging batteries all summer season. In winter, with reduced solar radiation, it may be necessary to recharge the battery once or twice during the winter (depending on the intensity and frequency of feeding). Our Solar feeder has a tank from 120 to 400 kg of feed. It is equipped with a programmable controller, you can input the number of feedings, the beginning and end of the feeding period, the amount of feed issued per feed. You can program for one day, week or month, or on any day of the week. On average, with a granule size of 4-5 mm the spreader delivers 200 to 400 g of feed in one second. For more accurate dosing, a simple calibration mode of the feed dispenser is provided, since the amount of feed ejected is highly dependent on the size and density of the granules.
