These master cylinder type has two independent circuits that work in series.It is like having two simple master cylinders that work pushed by the same pushrod. The advantage of this type of system is that if one braking branch has an oil leakage and therefore is no longer able to guarantee the braking, the other braking branch is not affected and can continue to brake at full power. The functional characteristic is the same of the simple circuit master cylinder.
