Sowing & CultivationSowing period: Early September / Early October
Sowing rate: 15 - 20 kg/ha
Sowing depth: 1 - 2 cm
Duration: Annual
Agronomic adviceDo not ensile in pure stand. For early sowings (Aug/Sept) a 50% MAS4 NUTRI VV / 50% diploid ryegrass balance is recommended. For later sowings increase MAS4 NUTRI VV to about 60%. Carefully manage nitrogen fertilisation (especially when mixed with ryegrasses). Beware of sulfonylurea residues. Conventional fertilisation can cause rapid ryegrass growth that may outcompete clovers.
