Our thermal weed control system exclusively uses the properties of heated water and steam as a proven means of weed control. Practical and autonomous, the KOMEX 12V500 unit is a complete and autonomous steam & boiling water weed control set that can be installed anywhere. With an optimised size (length 131 cm / width 96 cm / height 122 cm / weight approx. 350 kg) and two 250 l water tanks, you can easily transport it in a pick-up, trailer, tipper or van. Our unique hot water vapour system provides effective weed control while respecting the environment. Our hot water steam generator heats water up to a temperature of 140 degrees Celsius to obtain steam and boiling water. The water vapour produced is conducted through a hose with high thermal resistance, which will help to combat weeds. This operation triggers a very large thermal shock that destroys the cell walls of the plant. Unit in analogue version WEEDEX-12V (12Volt, 9 l/min), delivered complete with the following accessories: Automatic reel equipped with 15 ml of special hose with high thermal resistance, a lance support gun, a special KHL-D lance for finishing and cleaning, a KHL-Z round lance.
