The 4 Yd Batch Mixer can keep an automated system running at high speeds and near maximum production, limited only by keeping the mixer filled with media or soil and bottlenecks in production capabilities. The 4 yard batch mixer is powered by up to a 20 HP motor! Mixers capable of handling 4+ yards of media are often used in operations that fill large container sizes on a normal basis (larger than three gallon pots). Pack Manufacturing Batch Mixers are designed for uniform mix blending and works with a wide variety of materials, such as peat, bark, soil, sand, chemicals, and fertilizers. Our Batch Mixers have spiral ribbon blenders which pull material from the sides of the hopper toward the center. Simply add your mix ingredients to the easy access top safety lid and press start. The batch will be thoroughly mixed in just 3 - 5 minutes. Mixed media is easily removed from the center discharge hatch. Pack Mfg. Batch Mixers use direct drive transmissions, which eliminate the problems of chain and sprockets.
