Main features summary
The RS 48 is a compact trimmer-suction unit with hydrostatic transmission driving four wheels, electronically controlled by a joystick with adjustable working speed and automatic stop/resume with preset speed. During pickup operations the machine can move forward autonomously via an automatic driving system. The mowing bar uses a durable ribbon blade with adjustable speed and self-centring pulleys. Cutting height is set by electronic sensors to ensure level cutting without damaging crops or soil.

Suction and cleaning
High suction performance with low consumption: an optimized suction fan delivers strong airflow while minimizing fuel/energy use. Maximum suction power is reached at 1500 rpm. A dual filter cleaning system (air pulse + brush) maintains filter efficiency even with wet leaves. Suction duct and bin are made from food-grade-compliant materials.
